Shelter Membership

Memberships are due for 2009! Please don’t forget to renew your membership or join the Humane Society. WHS is a non-profit organization, membership dues are tax deductible. Please remember to send your check to us for your membership donation. When it becomes available, we will offer the ability to pay membership dues online.

It takes a considerable amount of money to keep the shelter running and costs increase daily to take in both stray and surrendered animals, provide medical care for them, feed them and find them new homes. WHS does get a certain amount of money from the City of Watertown and Townships of Watertown, Emmet, Milford, Concord, Waterloo and the Village of Reeseville for providing our services. However, this does not come close to meeting our financial needs. Even with our many fund raising campaigns we hold throughout the year, we still need other funding sources. We rely heavily on your tax-deductible membership donations to help with our operating expenses. It’s time to renew or join the Watertown Humane Society for 2009!
