WHS Guardian Angel Fund

The Guardian Angel Fund is a special needs fund we created and designated specifically for animals that need medical attention or surgical procedures that our shelter is not normally in a position to pay for out of our general funding.

For example, in March of 2009 we took in three stray Beagles, two tested positive for heartworm and one also had a broken leg. We named him “Snoopy”. The Guardian Angel Fund paid for the heartworm treatments and for Snoopy’s surgery and recovery bills. We’re happy to report that all three of these young and loving Beagles have been adopted to wonderful people!
