WHS in Your Will

The Watertown Humane Society is dedicated to promoting animal welfare by providing both care and shelter to animals in need, by educating the public about the humane care and treatment of animals, and by facilitating animal adoptions to suitable homes.

As a non-profit organization, all of this happens as a direct result of generous financial support. One of the easiest ways to leave a lasting legacy is through a bequest in your will or living trust.

Bequests May Include

  • A specific dollar amount.
  • A percentage of your estate.
  • The remainder of your estate after expenses and gifts to loved ones.

Gift Suggestions

  • Cash
  • Real Estate
  • Stocks
  • Investments
  • Other personal property

Because your bequest to the Watertown Humane Society is very likely deductible for estate tax purposes, please consult with your attorney on how best to realize substantial tax savings. Our organization is willing to work with your attorney to help ensure that your generous gift and legacy will be put to use in the mission of our organization.
