Did You Know? The American Staffordshire Terrier (commonly known as the “Pit Bull”) was once considered an “All-American” dog; in fact, in World War I an AmStaff named “Stubby” earned the rank of Sergeant and was the most decorated dog of the war?

Did You Know? The normal, resting respiratory (breathing) rate of cats is 16 to 40 breaths per minute–it is faster in kittens–and the normal temperature for an adult cat is 101.5 degrees?

Did You Know? American pet owners spent $30.4 billion dollars last year on food, supplies, services and medical care? Do we love our pets or what?!!!
Did You Know? Cats have 30 teeth which is 12 less teeth than a dog and two less teeth than a human!
Did You Know? Since cats can see so well in the dark, the U.S. Army experimented with them during the Vietnam war. Cats were put on leashes to lead foot soldiers through the night jungles. This didn’t work very well as the cats hated the leashes, chased after bugs and refused to trek in the rain and mud!
